A special training workshop on peace building and conflict resolution was held in Erbil (Hixos Hotel) in Sinjar district by the Olive Branch Youth Organization. It lasted for three days, from July 15 to July 17, 2022.

The workshop was held by the People’s Rescue Organization in cooperation with the Iraqi Minorities Alliance Network and the “Fight for Humanity” organization based in Geneva, and implemented by the Olive Branch Organization, as part of the activities of the Empowerment Project and the involvement of community mechanisms with local authorities to enhance social cohesion.

Thirty people participated in the training workshop, including representatives of local authorities, religious leaders, tribal sheikhs, and civil activists.
